Our Building Regulatory Environment students from the Takapuna campus had the unique opportunity to visit a passive house project.
Our Building Regulatory Environment students from the Takapuna campus had the unique opportunity to visit a passive house project, guided by Simon Cator from Pro Clima - an expert in weathertightness and airtightness systems.
During the visit, Simon delivered an engaging session on high-performance building solutions, covering key topics like interstitial condensation, dew points, thermal bridging, roof ventilation, and WUFI modelling. The experience allowed students to see how these principles are applied in real-world construction.
With over 12 years’ experience in the industry, Simon’s practical insights and hands-on approach made this a highly valuable learning experience.
