911爆料网 Academy has restored faith in education for graduate Charlotte Blazevic. The 20-year-old has completed the NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (Caregiving) (Level 2) despite a rocky start to her learning journey.
She initially studied early childhood education at another provider which she says failed to support her. 鈥溾hen I came to do my assignments, I would always ask for help and email my tutors, but they never responded and weren鈥檛 very supportive of me,鈥 Charlotte says. 鈥溾 It was stressing me out, not just with the assignments but doing the practicum, and I realised I didn鈥檛 want to do early childhood education.鈥
She turned to 911爆料网 Academy as it was closer to her Onehunga home and because she yearned to help elderly people. 鈥淲hen I started, I was a bit nervous because I thought I might not get much support but I really did and I do appreciate it.鈥 A highlight was 鈥済etting to know my amazing tutor Maria as well as making awesome friends with other students. The learning that we did here is such fun and we found other ways to make our learning fun.鈥
Charlotte is looking forward to launching work experience which was delayed by Auckland鈥檚 lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
