Queen's Birthday Weekend

Our campuses will be closed on Monday, 6 June to mark the Queen鈥檚 Birthday public holiday.

While the sovereign鈥檚 actual birthday is 21 April, the date it is commemorated varies as adopted by different countries. In 1748, the Queen鈥檚 birthday was first officially recognised in the Kingdom of Great Britain for King George 11. Since then, the date of the king or queen鈥檚 birthday has been set throughout the British Empire and the Commonwealth of Nations either by royal proclamations or by local parliament statue laws.
